Smoltz and G.Beckham? WHIR

is there a way to get either of those guys onto my roster?

i could drop Tulo for Beckham, but Tulo has turned it around since the hand injury
i could drop DiceK, Kershaw, or Nolasco for smoltz and then stash him in my 1 DL slot

thoughts? should i make any of these moves?

definitely dont drop tulo for beckham. in a nonkeeper, im not sure beckham is terribly useful, esp in a 10 team league.

as for smoltz, i love his upside but there's really no one i want you to drop for him. i think you need to package cain + kershaw or cain + diceK for a better starter (gallardo/vazquez maybe). that's a better way to open up a spot for smoltz.

i think with the right owner both of those deals could get done easily.
