I'm the guy who started the seasonal allergy thread a few days back.
I have a few questions.
So I don't know what I'm allergic to, but at this point, my best guess is tree/grass pollen. I switched from Claritin-D to a combination of Zyrtec and Vicam nose gel a few days ago. Vicam didn't really work, so, per DR.'s suggestion, started with Nasal Crom.
I'm so sick of being stuffed up. I woke up today with a headache in the front of my head - deep too. I don't know if I have really bad allergies, a sinus infection, or just a cold. Is anyone else going through this?
I don't have a sore throat, a cough, runny nose, or sneezing attacks. I'm just stuffed up, lethargic and thats about it. I would like someone to stick a vacuum up my nose and suck everything out. FWIW my phlegm has not been yellow or green, so I don't THINK it's a sinus infection.
i developed similar symptoms a few years ago, seems like twice a year i'd get terrible sinus headaches. antibiotics seemed to help...one time they said it didnt sound like a sinus headache but i asked for them anyway and it seemed to help. not sure if it just ran it's course or they worked, but it cant hurt. seems like i've been able to avoid it lately, so i'm sure that means tomorrow it will hit me
I was having similar problems and went to the clinic. They said I had a left over sinus infection from a cold a few weeks earlier. The put me on some steriods, zpack i think, and it cleared up. My snot was not green or yellow.
