taveras and bourn are not exactly WW type guys, unless you're in really a shallow league.

i'm talking about guys that have a good chance to be on the waiver-wire or ones that are recently getting picked up for their cheap SBs.

Cesar Izturis has done a fair amount of running this year. Guess he's gonna be on the DL for another 10 days or so, but I don't see any reason why he wouldn't pick up where he left off. He got off to a real slow start, but he was getting his average up and had a great SB percentage, iirc.

there are players that can give you alot of steals, but are almost useless in all other categories. someone like Burriss only helps in steals. hes not really worth starting on a regular basis unless your desperate for steals. if your going to want to start him consistently you might want to rather instead use other players who will steal less but also help in other categories and just start them based on the pitcher/catcher matchup in which they are going to be more likely to steal. i think a team like San Diego is going to give up more SB, so instead of using Burriss everyday check which players who steal some are facing SD and start them in those games.
im not sure where to find the information allthough ive seen it listed somewhere, but find which teams give up more SB.
i know there are stats that show which catchers give up more SB, but is there any stat or anywhere that lists which pitchers give up more SB? a SB isnt so much off the catcher, but also the pitcher who doesnt hold them well.
