Zobrist is hot , but will he remain full time when Bartlett comes back , Iwamura is out for season , so Zobrist may play 2nd or OUTFIELD ? AND i need a Catcher ..I have Ianetta and Pierzynski !!
i'd arther have Rios and Ianetta than Z and Weiters. Weiters will be great, but he may struggle for a while. If this is a keeper league, grab Weiters and run!
I like the trade for you, but I also have faith in Iannetta still putting up a good second half. Zobrist's power may be legit - he has no history of power in the minors, but through nearly 150 major league games, he has 22 or so homers, if I remember the statistic correctly. I think he's good value for a slumping Rios, whose ceiling I feel is a low 20/20 campaign. Toronto is cooling off too.
If this is a 2C league, definitely jump on the trade and drop A.J. to use Wieters. If it's a 1C league, I'd try targetting another need so you can still retain value out of Iannetta.
