Please leave a link for help returned.

10-team H2H keeper (we keep 4). Standard ESPN cats.

Two possible deals for me to make:

DEAL 1: I give Alfonso Soriano. I get CC Sabathia.

DEAL 2: I give Matt Kemp or Nelson Cruz. I get Chris Carpenter or Josh Johnson.

Should I make either one of these deals? If I make Deal two, should I give Kemp or Cruz, and should I ask for Carp or Johnson?

I wouldn't do any of those deals.

I don't have a problem with you moving any of those hitters, but in every scenario you mentioned (especially Soriano), I think you can get a good deal more in return.

Thanks for help on mine.

You could use a 5th starter, and you're loaded with relievers. I'd try packaging a lesser bat and an RP, or just dropping an RP to pick up a decent FA pitcher. As the trades are listed, however, I wouldn't do either of them straight-up. MAYBE Cruz for JJ, if you think Cruz won't keep this up.

Thanks for the help on mine.

Targetting Josh Johnson or CC makes sense for your team but I agree that you are overpaying with those hitters.

agreed. I think you might be overpaying a bit in either deal. That said, if I had to choose one, gun to my head, I'd deal Cruz for Johnson. I like Carp, but I have no faith that he will stay off the DL for the rest of the season. With any luck, he'd end up on the DL right when it came to Fantasy Playoff time.
