Yeah you'd think they would have changed the play-by-play. It was originally ruled a HR but reversed upon replay.

I think he's commenting on the fact that a HR reversed for fan interference should have never been reported as "deep".

In that case, every home run is "deep", so a "home run to deep center" is redundant. But I'm guessing you're right.

I think "Deep" means the deepest part of the park, not how far into the stands.
