Pick up Ubaldo Jimenez or Ryan Madson?

Which one would you rather have in a h2h league? Madson has been good but he seems like a short-term fill in, which isn't that great for h2h. Ubaldo has been solid but he's been inconsistent in the past. Thoughts? I'm going to drop BJ Ryan.

id prolly pick up madsen, it would be nice to have that handcuff, lidge's position is up int he air at this point to some extent. Ubaldo pitches for the rockies :-t and is way to incossitent for my taste

Ubaldo's good starts with 8-12 KOs over a season are much more valuable than 2 weeks of Madson closing.

I've seen a couple of Ubaldo's starts lately and I have to say his stuff is absolutely sick. If he can continue to control it like he has been, he should be able to outpitch the coors disadvantage with all the K's he will get. I would take Ubaldo.
