You are left without a catcher (inge is a top 50 player right now and Molina is hitting the major skids), and you are getting four players so you need to pick another from your team to drop (probably Big Headcase Papi). I like your team better without this trade and with dropping Big Papi for whoever is most productive on your waiver wire/fa list as a Util player until (if) Bartlett gets healthy.

I would do it. Then try to trade a CI for some better pitching. By the way, he has Ianetta who came off the DL and Molina, so playing the hot hand can work there. I would maybe trade Papi and Pierre for a slight OF upgrade like McLouth, perhaps or Papi and Lackey for a pitcher like Garza. Then you could maybe avoid having to drop a productive player.

I'm not really a fan of this for you either. Yes you get a couple nice SP's (1 being very good), but Shields ain't no slouch and like mentioned previously, Inge is a valuable commodity because of his C eligibility & Dye has been hitting a ton!

I say stay put

thanks for helping with mine

Thanks for the help. I dont think this is a trade you have to make. Your pitching is strong and you dont need any extra CI. Unless this is a keeper league i would try and deal Hanson, he is a big name right now but like most rookie pitchers his road will be a bumpy one. See what you can get for him
