10 team roto league. I'm in first place, but I just lost Sizemore and Hamilton to the DL. Do I trade Hamilton for any of the following to try and salvage the season? Keep in mind we keep three players each season in this league. I sent around an e-mail about trading Hamilton and these are the only offers I received. A) John Lackey B) Cliff LeeUPDATE - Was just offered M. Young for Hamilton. Young would be an upgrade over Stewart (or Beckham) at MI. Is trading for Young a better fit then Lackey or Lee? The other owner also has Pence and Quentin (i.e., potential counter targets) for context. MY TEAM C-Martin 1b-A.Gonzalez 2b-Phillips ss-Alx.Ramirez 3b-Longoria CI-C.Jones MI-Stewart(or Beckham) OF-Adm.Jones, Ludwick, Dye, Choo, Kubel Util-Reimold (or Crisp) Bench-*Hamilton, *Sizemore SP-Greinke, Gallardo, Lilly, Jimenez, K.Escobar, Danks RP-Broxton, Qualls, B.Wilson

I would make the deal for the pitcher you prefer - your 3 keepers are already nice without Hamilton - Lackey gets more K's and wins with more injury questions

I would make the trade for Lackey over Cliff Lee. Lackey is an injury concern but when healthy he will get you more Ws & Ks. Thanks for the help with mine!

So you think dealing Hamilton period is the right move...and that Lackey would be enough return value?

you have several keeper option without Hamilton: Sizemore, Longoria for sure - then Gallardo, greinke, or A-Gonz
Hamilton is always hurt it seems and I would want 1 of my keepers to be on the field more offten

I think I would do it for Lackey. He has potential to be an ace and Hamilton is out for 2 months almost and is always hurt. Plus he wasnt producing anyway. You have other good potential keepers as well so I would make this move and see if you can win this year not worrying about who your keepers are going to be. Maybe wait a couple of days and see if you get any better offers but for now I think I would take Lackey.
please help and read my last post, thanks.

Do it for Lackey -- at the end of the day, Hamilton could have some injury concerns that drag on and Lackey, while not an iron man himself, can really help you out in elite fashion on the mound...
