12 team 5x5 mixed league.
Danks clears waivers tonight. I know he's been inconsistent, but he's a guy I targeted in the preseason draft. Would you use a #3 waiver claim on him?
SP: Peavy, Wainwright, Bedard, Ubaldo, Josh Johnson, Kuroda, Baker

No way, I would not touch that guy until he puts together a string of nice starts. I had him on my radar at the beginning of the season as well but I am pretty happy I left him alone. Your starting pitching is awesome you don't need him, save your #3 waiver for someone else.

Depends if there are a lot of bad drops in your league and you think your waiver can be used in a better spot. If so, just see if he clears, if not, then just use it.

I would use that waiver to address whatever your biggest needs are. Danks is a pitcher that's worth that waiver right now IMO.
