No-Brainer? Need Quick Help WHIR

Get Ichiro for Hunter + Smoltz.

C Sandoval
1B Pujols
2B Uggla
3B Longoria
SS Theriot
OF Hamilton (DL), Hunter, Morales
UTL Morneau, C Davis

BN Hafner, Fukodome, McCutchen, Beckham

SP Hamels, Shields, Felix, Hanson, Volstad, Danks, Smoltz
RP Wood, Street, Marmol

I'm pretty weak/shallow in the OF, especially with Hamilton gone. Pretty powerful elsewhere, and strong in SP, I think.

Take the deal?

WHIR

I would probably take this deal. But, I'm not that big on Ichiro (but he has been impressive these days). I like to have power more than avg. I would keep Ichiro if you always win the avg category because of Ichiro. There are too many slumpers that hurt my average on a weekly basis. You're team looks good though. Thanks for helping me.

I'm not wanting for power. I just feel like Hunter will drop off and I have plenty of SP.

I probably would do this. Hunter will probably drop off a little and IChiro is very consistent and you dont need Smoltz. Pull the trigger.

please help

Thanks for replying to my thread. I like the deal too. Smoltz has a good name, but coming off an injury like that, at his age... he could do awesome, but emphasize the "could"! He could totally bomb out too and reaggravate the injury. Solid sell-high/upside trade, for the very consistent ichiro, who will boost your AVG and SB... you could take on a low-average slugger now and not be too harmed.
