Need to take a SS...HIT! Please Help! WHIR!!!

Hey all......ok so #2 is already done but need a little help here in a different department!

I am in a 12 Team Yahoo H2H league (currently 2nd place behind by 2 points).....10 CAT (5X5)

I currently have M.Scutaro as my SS and was wondering if these FA SS's were better as a pickup as Scutaro hasn't been up to par lately......in fact All of the Jays haven't been hitting lately!!! Thanks for your help and I will help yours if needed!!!

Well if you need some power help, I like Peralta. Speed - Theriot. I just picked up Hairston to replace injured Reyes, and he's been So Hot Right Now. Barmes has been solid lately too.

I tend to favor guys who are currently hot when choosing fill-ins, if they're temporary.

I am really kind of looking for a permenant SS though. I might try and trade for a top SS but this league is really hard to trade with and I don't think I have much depth anywhere to trade.

As far as some of the players I/You had mentioned.....I actually had Hairston for a few days and he has either sat out or stunk it up the past few days so I dropped him in favor of I.Stewart (couldn't let the hot Stewart fly by).....so not sure what you are seeing in him that's so hot right now???

Barmes is decent but I just don't see too much playing time....(Colorado is tricky this year with how much time and who they are rotating and playing and Blah Blah Blah)

So thanks for the reply but looking for long term guy here and I would rather have Power over speed but I am really just focused on Avg/hitting percentage! (I want a guy that hits almost everyday and knocks in some RBI's and Runs here and there....like everyday or almost everyday)

Gotcha - I had Hairston Jr now for a week or two, and he's been pretty hot (obp league), hitting some HRs.

Everyday guy? I'd go Peralta. Has power, and a regular starting job.
