D. Lee is finally heating up and konerko is barely a worldbeater at 1B these days. his days as a 300 or even 275 hitter seem to be over so your a bit thin there. Hanson seems to be for real and like previously stated i think its a good idea to let him get a couple starts and see if his value skyrockets. I do see a case that could be made for upgrading your SP quality at the end of your rotation. who is waiting out there on the WW for you to pick up if this goes through?

I agree it makes sense to wait for Hanson's first start to see if his value goes substantially up, but on the surface I think this trade may make sense.

Primarily, I think it depends on the developements with regards to Sizemore and Reyes - if it looks like they won't miss significant time (which was still up in the air on both, last I heard) then I think you'll be fine replacing the lost production at Util. And in a non-keeper, I'd be more comfortable with Lee's consistency over Hanson's (esp in a H2H).

I'd wait 2 Hanson starts, see how Sizemore and Reyes develop, and then decide.

I'd give up Derrek Lee for Cliff Lee quite easily, but you might want to wait and see on Hanson if you can squeeze a bit more value out of him after a few starts. Other than that, I'd take Cliff Lee here.
