You don't really need him. I'm gonna suggest that you not bother. As soon as Weiters hits a couple dingers, his trade value among stupid people will sky rocket. Someone will over pay. Not to suggest Weiters isn't valuable, but he's not really going to have a spectacular rookie season.

im thinking of dropping someone out of weiters or scherzer to pick up ethier or hill (not use waiver if he is still there) so that i can pick up smoltz and stash him on the dl then drop stephen drew who is currently on my dl and i cant drop him unless i drop weiters or scherzer

i like the drop scherzer (little win potential seemingly, struggled as of late, little value) wiat a while and trade wieters, and get smoltz for drew (if im understanding correctly)

I'd hold onto weiters, scherzer and drew. How is drew on your DL, he came off it almost a month ago!?!? Anyway, hill has been slowing down the last 3 weeks as the BJ's started to slide and you don't need him. How about trading any of those 3, or even Mags for an upgrade?

Nice roster, and when Manny comes back, look out!
