Nelson Cruz and Magglio for Price and Lowe?

Postby Auronx62 » Sat Jun 06, 2009 7:22 pm

Currently crippled in the offense department. In need of some offense and the person i'm trading with needs pitching. He first offered Nelson cruz and magglio for my price and lowe. His other offer is Markakis and Beltre for my Bedard and Zimmerman. I'm not too crazy about trade 2, as i'm not that high on beltre. What do you feel about Nelson cruz and magglio for Price and Lowe? Can i counter for something else? Currently look for some offense, mainly outfielders. Notable outfielders on his team are Hawpe, Lind, Ichiro, Markakis, Cruz, Magglio, Ludwick and BJ Upton. My team stands as this:

C Russell Martin
1B Lance Berkman
2B Brian Roberts
3B Ryan Zimmerman
SS Troy Tulowitzki
CI Jorge Cantu
MI Marco Scutaro
CF Curtis Granderson
OF Juan Pierre
OF Bobby Abreu
OF Kosuke Fukodome
OF Denard Span
Util Pablo Sandoval
Util Weiters
BN Mark Derosa
BN Nyjer Morgan
DL Grady Sizemore

SP CC Sabathia
SP Francisco Liriano
SP Brandon Morrow
SP Derek Lowe
SP Erik Bedard
SP Tommy Hanson
RP BJ Ryan
P Heath Bell
P R. Franklin
P Gil Meche
P Hudson Street
BN David Price
BN Chris Volstad
DL Kelvim Escobar
DL Edison Volquez

I like it for you. IMO you get the best player in the deal in Cruz and once your pitching gets healthy again your pitching depth will look fine.
