M Young for McLouth, WHIR

Postby labardo31 » Sat Jun 06, 2009 6:53 pm

16 team true dynasty league (keep all 25 players), 6x6 roto.

My outfield depth is kinda lacking right now and my 3b/ss spots are ok for now. Another manager is looking for a 3bman and trying to use McLouth as his chip.

I send Michael Young
I receive Nate McLouth

Thanks in advance, and leave a link if you'd like an opinion on an issue of your own.

my roster:
C - Carlos Ruiz
1b - Mark Teixeira, Joey Votto, Travis Hafner
2b - Ian Kinsler
3b - Evan Longoria, Michael Young
SS - Yunel Escobar, Rafael Furcal
OF - Jermaine Dye, Granderson, Bruce, Gerrardo Parra
SP - Greinke, Carpenter, Lowe, Gallardo, Jurrjens, Sheets, Hughes
RP - Lidge, Capps, Masterson, Ramon Ramirez, Guerrier, Meyer

I would say that you have to do that trade. McLouth is a legitimate 20/20 OF'er year in and year out...he won't hit for as good an avg. as Young will, but McLouth's power/speed combo in the OF is much more valuable considering how good your IF is. Great trade for you if it happens..thanks for your help with mine.

Mclouth's value shoots up in the Braves lineup and since you're already satisfied at first you should make this deal for sure.

I would do it. Both are exceptional players and should both produce. But, I like McLouth slightly more especially in your league format.

please help my McLouth question:
