Soriano / Peavy

Postby down.by.law » Sat Jun 06, 2009 11:13 am

I feel as though I need an ace, and in my mind the best top tier player to give up would be Soriano (with my Rowand, Hart depth). I would also like another 1B until Votto comes back (?). Leave a link - I'll answer yours.

Definitely fair, but do you really need Peavy. Lackey hasn't hit his stride yet and rest of your staff is solid though. I might try to sell high on Jurrjens or Garza though. Maybe you could work something around one of them and Peavy and give up a lesser offensive player.

I don't know that I'd make this trade. It's fair, but I think you're better off keeping Soriano and Kuroda who's solid himself. I do like the idea of trading Jurrjens. His skills don't match his stats. If you're insistent of getting Peavy, then I'd try to squeeze a little more out of this guy. I got Peavy and Ludwick for Carlos Lee and Meche, just to give you an idea of how others value Peavy and a similar type OF.
