10 team roto league (we keep 3 players each season). Currently in 2nd place so I definitely have a chance to win this season. Do I trade Hamilton at a discount in order to make a run at the title? Can Sandoval come close to matching Chipper's numbers?
like previous person said...Youk would give you the power that you are missing from josh and grady..
However it seems you are counting a lot on Escobar...At time Jiminez has been off...Grienke just got rocked and will not produce a 1.00 ERA for the year..
You may want to target youk and put him at your CI position and see what SP you can get for Chipper
Although Youk's been a little banged up this year, you're getting rid of 2 of the most injury prone players in the leauge. I'd do it. I think Sandoval will be good enough to make this deal worth it since it's a roto league.

I know he got rocked last night, but I think Greinke will still be a top-tier pitcher this season. Gallardo is also developing in to a No. 1 type starter.I also have a waiver claim in for Danks, who I think will definitely improve. Maybe I'm naive, but I feel like I can get by with a rotation of - Greinke, Gallardo, Lilly, Jimenez, Escobar and Danks. Is that crazy?

My thoughts exactly. When Hamilton is healthy, he's a beast....but all that doesn't matter if he's always hurt. And with Chipper, it's not a matter of IF he's going to the DL, but WHEN. I'd do this trade.
thanks for the help, could you also give me a hand on the 2nd part of my post:
The only reason I'd possibly hold off on this deal is the fact that I'm unsure how Sandoval will hold up post-ASB. Since it's his first full season in the majors, there is a strong possibility of him slowing down come August / Sept. I'd rework some things to get you a SP.
