He offered me Swisher which I promptly rejected.
I need McCutchen for his hits, runs, and steals in a Yahoo 6x6 redraft H2H league.
The only guys I want on his team who I might take for McCutchen are Ichiro or Span.
I doubt he would trade Ichiro for McCutchen but he might trade Span.
Should I offer him McCutchen for Ichiro, for Span, or just stand pat?

You were right to reject Swisher. There is nothing better than some homer fan who is willing to overpay for a home team player. Milk him for all he's got. Keep rejecting his offers and asking him to try again. See how much he's really willing to give. After he appears to give up on you, go back to his last offer and tell him you've reconsidered and think it's fair. It'll work like a charm. Be ruthless... lol

I'd try to package McCutchen and somebody else who's middle-tier and go for Ichiro. I wouldn't bother with Span.

I think you should offer make an offer for ichiro then reoffer with someone else if he rejects. span isnt enough to get for a homer fan. After his debut you gotta be careful that you dont sell him after his peak value which could be now.
looking for experienced players take a look at my league:

Especially since McCutchen was O-4 tonight. That may have taken some of the wind out of his sails. Don't get too greedy. He is still just a prospect.

In a redraft 12 team league, McCutchen is a borderline player. I think you're expecting WAY too much if you want Ichiro. I think someone like Span would be an upgrade over McCutchen, whether he's a homer or not.
