Setting Your Lineup?

Postby tigercat » Fri Jun 05, 2009 4:23 pm

Was just wondering what thoughts you guys or gals have on setting your lineups. In both my 10-team CBS h2h points league and 12-team Yahoo 5x5 roto h2h league, in an effort to ride hot streaks, I look at my hitters' last 14 games and pitchers' last 28 games and take my best 9 hitters and 7 pitchers for my starters providing that I can fill my positions legally. Both leagues require 2 RPs and CBS requires 5 SPs. Is this a reasonably good way to do this or should I look at fewer or more weeks?

I cheated :-D : One more question. I had Soto in the CBS league and picked up Wieters when he came up in hopes both would start hitting and use one at the UT spot. They haven't yet. What would you suggest I do at my CA spot? I don't need 2 CAs since they don't usually stay in the full week. At CBS you set your lineup for the week. Thanks ya'll. Appreciate your advice.
