Decent value but you dont have enough pitchers even before the trade. IF you decide to do this id look to add at least 2 more SP

I think you have enough starting pitching to withstand the loss of Peavy, you are getting back 2 terrific hitters. Also I am slightly worried about Peavy there could be a nagging injury which is hampering him and besides that he is pitching for a crappy team=lack of wins, he should have accepted the trade to the White Sox.

if u think u can turn around and trade hunter for a gallardo like sp then def do it.....as manny alone will eventually have more value than peavy

I think the trade is too good to pass up but you need to acquire a valuable SP immediately after as your squad is way too thin. Maybe move a RP and Hill for an SP.

Your getting great value for Peavy as Hunter is lighting it up this year again and you know Manny will once he returns... he's already been out for while so the longer the season goes the more his value increases... I think you should definitely pull the trigger and then try to flip one of them for another SP as I think you'll need a better one after losing Peavy.

That is GREAT value for Peavy. You're getting 2 excellent players for one. You might want to turn Hunter or Manny around for another elite pitcher though. That being said, I don't see how you don't do that deal.

I like the deal in terms of value, but I agree with the first response in saying that you don't have the depth in your SP to compensate for the loss. It's all well and good to say that you'll turn around and trade Hill for a SP, but unless you know for sure you can make that deal happen then it's risky.
