Greinke/Either for Ichiro? WHIR

Postby ultrazero » Fri Jun 05, 2009 12:43 pm

I'm not gonna lie. I value Ichiro very highly in fantasy. I believe he is a solid second rounder.

But is offering Greinke and Either too much for him? Thoughts? Will help in return.

I'm down in R, AVG, and SB. Ichiro's bread and butter.

This is my current roster.

Util: Yunel Escobar (SS)
BN: Miguel Cabrera (1B,3B), Evan Longoria (3B), Willy Taveras (OF), Kurt Suzuki (C)
DL: Pat Burrell (OF)

I agree Greinke/Ethier >> Ichiro. Plus Ichiro is not getting the SB's this year either....

No, I'm serious.

I've read a lot around here that Greinke is a sell high guy. Either hasn't really done all that much.

So apparently it's too much.

Is Garza/Either for Ichiro a more even deal?

Hey man, Garza/Ethier is a fair deal and I would do that in a heartbeat. Greinke might be a "sell high" guy but he will not totally crap out. Granted I don't think he will keep up this insane pace for the entire season but even if he comes back down to earth he might still have 1.5-2 ERA...I would hold onto him.

Help with mine?
