DL manuevers WHIR

Postby reverend » Fri Jun 05, 2009 11:25 am

I have four guys that are DL eligible. All but one is coming off soon, so it would seem like an easy manuever.

Leave Ryan Doumit on the DL and have Valverde, Harden, and Escobar start playing.

However I have Joe Mauer and don't need Doumit. I picked him up to trade him later. The teams with bad catchers have seen this pickup and have tried fixing their catching problems on their own as to not help me:) What I mean to day is the Douit market in my league will be pretty dry.

I want to drop him fro James Loney and get me some active RBI's. However if I do that I can't keep my whole team like I can storing a DL guy away. Is Doumit on the DL worth more than Loney and losing someone else?

H2H 5x5 (holds instead of WHIP) 12 teams

Mauer, Pujols, Al. Ramirez, Y. Escobar, Reynolds, ManRam (NA), Abreu, J. Upton, Cuddyer, Kubel, Atkins, Doumit (DL)
Halladay, Bedard, Wainwright, Price, K. Escobar, Harden, Wilson, Valverde, Aardsma, Motte (for holds)

Thanks!
