Help Me Fill My Utility Positions - WHIR!

Postby Cypher74 » Fri Jun 05, 2009 9:21 am

I have two UTIL spots in a 12 team Yahoo H2H points league that counts everything from K's to BB's to Errors.

My lineup is below -

C - Sandoval
1B - Pujols
2B - K. Johnson
SS - Rollins
3B - Huff
OF - Rios, Victorino, Choo
UTIL - Reimold, Reynolds
DL - Iannetta

Some available bats are: Beltre, Drew, Ad. Laroche, Kubel, J. Lopez, Rowand, G. Atkins. Podsednik, Winn, Giambi

Anyone there you'd pick up? Who would you drop? My offense really needs a boost.

Leave a link, WHIR!

I'd grab Beltre for sure. I know he hasn't gotten off to the best start, but he's usually pretty darn consistent.

I'd go with him

please help

I'd stand pat. Reimold is the most droppable, but none of the guys on the WW are playing well right now, or that great. Beltre is probably the best bet, but you likely have time to wait for Reimold to slump and Beltre to show signs of life. The most interesting name is Atkins... fresh off a 2 homer game, he might finally be turning things around, but that might just be me being hopeful (ugh). If he continues to string together some more strong performances, though, grab him.

Thanks for the help on mine.

Reimold is who i'd drop, and i either pick up Beltre or Atkins.

for me personally i'd grab Atkins, but a lot of people wouldn't. I just think he'll be playing for his job so he'll start performing better

If you look, Beltre is starting to heat up. I just picked him up in a league and have already received two trade offers for him. IMO, the player I would love to drop is Johnson, but since no one to replace him with (not fan of J. Lopez), I guess the drop would be Reimold.

Thanks for help on mine. I have a quick follow up question: I just used Lowe in another trade - so should I offer Garza or Lester for Figgins (or neither one)? Thanks!
