Another great night missing the cycle by a double. So far his 13 HR, 52 RBI, 31 Run, .286 Ave is strong. An early fav for MVP of the NL ?? He has contributed a ton to the Brewers 31 Wins thus far!
I don't see it with Pujols hitting almost 60 points higher with 4 more HR's, 10+ more runs, and only 4 RBI's behind him. Plus he has chipped in 7 SB's, not to mention his BB:K dwarfs Prince's and he plays about the best first base defense and Prince is not good defensively. I'd argue he's well off the pace considering the scorching start Ibanez is on too. Nice start, very promising, but I'm not seeing an MVP.
Would not surprise me if the Brewers get another arm, win the NL Central and Prince goes to the tune of .300/40 HR/135 RBI/110 Run, he is doing a ton to keep them in front

If Pujols misses some time at some point sure I could see it. But the defense of Pujols is going to be the tipping point almost no matter what if they both stay healthy. If Pujols goes down I think Fielder is a strong contender, if Pujols stays healthy I don't see how anyone competes with him. He is the best player of our generation that doesn't have steroids hanging over their heads(not saying he is 100% clean, just no real proof at all that he did it.)
