OK I'm 4th in a 12 team H2H league and I'm dominating steals and needed some power.
R, HR, RBI, SB, AVG, OBP W, K, SV, ERA, WHIP

I have been proposed a trade Aubrey Huff for Russell Martin. I want to do the trade because one I need power and need to get rid of some of these steals. 2 Jason Varitek is a FA and I could drop Blanton if I needed too. Should I pull the trigger?

i would pick do the trade and pick up a catcher if u need power huff will give it too you but who are you gunna take out of your line up ? thanks for helping me i posted my whole team if you wanted to check it out

Since I have so many steal I would bench Pierre and try and trade him (which I have been trying to do) for some power, or maybe package Huff and Pierre for a better hitter like Jermaine Dye. I have already picked up Varitek and dropped Blanton just in case I accept it.

i'd pull the trigger on that deal.

and try to trade pierre with huff after the deal for an upgrade...i don't think J.Dye is an upgrade over Huff, by the way.

i hate selling russell low since i think you could get a whole lot more for him if/when he starts to rake. elite catchers are hard to come by. Id look for a power hitting 1b to fill your UTIL spot.

Guy in my league pulled off Crawford for Tex before Tex heated up. I was mad, I'd been trying to get Tex... was a great trade.

It would be interesting to know who the big power guys are on the 2-3 lowest steals teams.

I do think the Huff for Martin trade is an upgrade, but don't stop there.

Catcher is deeper than ever this season, and Huff is a second half beast. GREAT TRADE!!
