Need help with Arod offer.

I am trying to upgrade my 3B, and make room for Smoltz and Escobar coming off the DL.
I planned to offer:

Alexi / M.Reynolds / Gallardo
for
Arod / Phillips

I'm also interested in his Oswalt, but that trade might have to wait.
Does this trade offer have a chance, or do I need to upgrade my offer?

Its a timely offer since his SS just went on the DL and the SS position is not deep this year at all. I think the offer stands a chance, at least enough to get a counter-offer, which is all that any initial offer should really do imo. I doubt I'd sign it if I had A-rod, but I wouldn't be offended by it either and would likely propose a counter with Lincecum replacing Gallardo.

ehhh tough deal to grasp. if i was him i can't say i'd accept that, although i do like gallardo alot and he just lost his short stop. it never hurts to offer, but see what he says he'd like if he declines, then post back.

I honestly dont think this trade has a chance. A healthy Arod is a top 3 player + Phillips is still a pretty damn good 2B. I think you'll have to give up more to get him.

I always look at who's getting the best player in the deal, and in this case the two best players would be going your way. I don't see it happening. I agree with the other guy, for this to work I'm guessing Lincecum would have to be included.

Um....I Don't think he'll be doing that but if he does good for you. I think Alexi and Gallardo are def on the right track but Reynolds looks like filler. You'll prb have to spice it up a bit.

Yeah, I don't believe the owner will accept that offer, Arod is a beast, and if he wasn't hurt, he would have been a top 3 pick.
