Man, Yahoo Sports has really been getting sloppy

Just doing a little venting. I decided to add a midseason team as registration is now open. So I went online registered my team. I spent a good two hours setting up my autodraft since I have to get up early to go to work. The next morning I get an email from Yahoo saying my team has been drafted and the Yahoo Public league it was assigned to.

Problem was there was no team on my homepage nor in my profile, sent an email to yahoo asking what had occurred and here was thier response.

Unfortunately this happens from time to time, the public league did not
fill with the required 12 managers and was deleted automatically over
night. Basically all public leagues must be filled with 12 managers so
they can compete on the overall leader boards, if the league has more or
less managers it creates a rift in the average score as the roster
possibilities are drastically altered. I apologize for any confusion
this may have caused, at this point you will need to sign up for a
different league as the other league can not be restored.

So what did I do? I registered again, predrafted another team ( another two hours ) only to have the very same thing happen again.
Ah well, so much for the mid season league. I'm done with it.

I'm not sure how this is "sloppy" of them. This is a known policy with all their public leagues.
