Haren/Beltre for M Cabrera

Postby hett2333 » Thu Jun 04, 2009 8:25 am

I'm in a 12 team mixed h2h points league...I've been offerend Miguel Cabrera for Haren and Beltre. Pitching definately has more value in a points league then roto in my opinion, so I'm not sure if it's worth it. Year to date points Haren has put up 229, Beltre 149, and M Cabrera has put up 201. As crazy as it might sound, I'm considering staying put. Thoughts?

I completely agree, but with that said...would you still make the trade?

I'd do it, the points are all relative. MCab gets more points relative to the other batters. It's kind of like why you pick RB in the first round in football. Sure, QBs get more points, but the good RBs are more rare.

I completely agree, wouldn't the gap between Haren and lets say someone like Baker or Maholm just as big of a gap if not bigger?
