Who gets the better end of the deal?
I would then move Figgins to 3b, Alexie to 2nd base, and JJ Hardy to SS. (Possibly pick up Gordon Beckham also)
I am struggling a bit in Ks and Johnson would help me out in that category more than Cain. (Plus Hanson was called up now)
c. Joe Mauer
1b. Ryan Howard
2b. Aaron Hill
3b. Chipper Jones
ss. Alexie Ramirez
of. Michael Cuddyer
of. Ben Francisco (Fill in)
of. BJ Upton
util. Chone Figgins
b. Garrett Atkins
b. JJ Hardy
dl. Josh Hamilton
dl. Carlos Quentin
sp. Dan Haren
sp. Matt Cain
p. Adam Wainwright
p. Yovani Gallardo
p. Ubaldo Jimenez
rp. Brian Wilson
rp. Joakim Soria
b. Tommy Hanson
b. Ricky Nolasco
b. Kelvim Escobar

Tough call - I'm a big fan of Granderson but also Cain
I'd say Cain for Johnson is a wash and Chipper / Hill for Granderson seems fair.
I think Granderson has a real bright future and it'd be worth Chipper to grab him - maybe try and deal another one of the OF's ya have instead of throwing Hill in there ... gonna be crowded in that postion otherwise

I would be starting Upton, Granderson, Hamilton & Quentin once they would all get healthy. Hamilton won't be healthy for a while so Cuddyer would be in his place for the time being. I would then probably drop Francisco for Beckham for a backup SS too.

Thanks for your help with mine.
It looks like you need some OF help due to injuries. I think it's a pretty decent deal that doesn't hurt your pitching too much and gives fits your needs. See if he'll do it for one or even a tandem of your weaker pitchers (since you have Hanson waiting in the wings). If so, then jump on it. If not... I'd settle for what you've got here.

This is an interesting one. I think that Cain is benefiting from alot of good luck this year so will be happy with Johnson. I believe Granderson is a top 10 outfielder and Chipper's health is a constant issue, so i would say go for it.

I think getting Granderson and Johnson makes this deal a VERY good one for you. The way that I look at it, Granderson and Johnson are the two best players involved in this deal, without doubt. Chipper obviously can be an asset, but he's an injury in the making. And since Alexi is also 2B eligible, you'd have no problem re-setting your team.
Nice deal. Help?
