Whos my best waiver option? (shallow league)

Postby everett1987 » Wed Jun 03, 2009 10:49 pm

Shallow H2H league, with almost no bench 6x6 (SLG, CG) and no waiver time.

Will def help in return, leave a link.

Heres my team:

c-Inge
1b-prince
2b-uggla
ss-zobrist
3b-Miggy Cabreara
IF-lowell
OF-Bay
OF-granderson
OF-Beltran
OF-Ben Fransico
Util-F. Sanchez
BN-S Drew
DL-Doumit

SP-Joba, t. Hanson
RP-Hanrahan, street, Cordero
DL-Volquez

So i stream starters for the most part and try and let my offense carry my team. Im thinking that position is not that important in who i pick up since they will likely be filling my Util role. (hoping to trade my hanson for his span to fill my last OF, is this logical by the way?)

Which 2 of these waiver wire guys do you like for my squad and why?

cuddyer, Cody Ross, Randy Winn, K Morales, Melk cabreara, JD Drew, Sheffield, kelly johnson, H Matsui, C, Crisp.

Cuddyer and drew seem likes the logical choices but i want to see if cuddyer's hand is ok. Thoughts?
Overall thoughts/rating of my squad is appreciated too.

Cheers!

If Cuddyer's injury isn't major, I'd grab him.
Its hard to pass on JD Drew just because of the team he is on.

Definitely not Crisp, Matsui, or Sheffield.

You want to trade Hanson away for Span? I wouldn't do that.

Anyways, Cuddyer said his injury improved a TON since yesterday and could be back in the lineup by the end of the week.

"The swelling in Cuddyer's finger substantially subsided Wednesday, the Twins' official site reports.
Spin: He still had to sit out of the game, but manager Rod Gardenhire was much more optimistic Wednesday than Tuesday. He has started to re-gain mobility and should resume baseball activities shortly."

I would pick up Cuddyer. Help...
