Who's the closer? The Jays should be good this year!

I'm hoping Speier and he is currently listed as their closer everywhere I have looked. Lopez was drafted in both drafts I have been in and Speier has been undrafted in both. Speier could be a major steal if he lands and holds the job.

The jury is still out, the jury. The smart money's on Speier though. He's had a better spring than ALo so far...

It's still Speier. But Lopez should take over at some point, especiallly if/when the Jays fall out of contention in the east.

Being in the same division as Steinbrenner and Epstein means you start the season out of contention

I've been seeing just the opposite...that it was Lopez's job to lose and he would probably be in the closer's role to start the season...with Speier probably taking over at some point if (when)Lopez struggles...
