I was offered Jermaine Dye and Brandon Inge as well as Troy Percival(Who is useless) for Carlos Lee.
Are Jermaine Dye and Brandon Inge a good deal for Lee? They both have better numbers with a bit lower averages. It seem like a steal but I want to be sure.

Hey man, I would hold off on making this deal. It's a bad trade, but I really really love Carlos Lee, he is a 2nd/3rd round pick for a reason...consistency and being a big time hitter. I like Dye as well but I think at the end of the season Lee will have significantly better numbers. Inge is interesting, he is on fire now but I see him cooling down, the question is will his numbers gradually even out over the course of the season or will he just drop off the face of the earth? It's a gamble and I think I would stick with Carlos for the time being.
Help with mine?

I will trade Carlos Lee now (I have him on my roster). To me, Jermaine Dye is as a good power hitter as Carlos Lee with lower AVG. Brandon Inge is hot to start but his number will go down, maybe significantly. His power number has only been down a little bit in May. But look at his average number: In April: AVG 0.319, SLUG 0.667 (my goodness). in May: AVG 0.235, SLUG 0.412. If you are good with AVG from other position, I would take the deal.
Please help me back?
