CI for broxton and Loney...

Postby plainyogurt » Wed Jun 03, 2009 10:29 am

I was offered Broxton and Loney for Fielder about a week ago..I told him no, that i thought I would lose too much power, however I am still thinking...Loney is solid and will get my a higher avg and solid RBI's...I do need a solid closer, and do have the power to spare, however should I counter with a different CI, and will it be fair(Dunn, Berkman, Youk).

Please help
WILL ANSWER BACK!
( If I trade CI, I can then move Dunn to CI position and have Bourne and/or vlad play everyday)

I def wouldnt give up Fielder for that

Maybe dunn or Youkilis, but I'm not thrilled about Loney personally. Don't do the Fielder deal, offer one of the others

thanks for help on mine

i'd see if you could get away with trading Hawkins, Valverde and Dunn for Loney and Broxton. Hawkins will be done once Valverde comes back in 2 weeks and this way your trading position for position. If you gave up Youks, you'd have to scramble to find a 3B.

Plus, it'll free up a spot on your roster for maybe another quality SP.

just a thought.

Thanks!!! so I was looking at his roster and thinking of the following.
If I trade YOUK then I can put MIggy at 3rd(eligibility)

Fielder(or Dunn) and Vlad For Carlos Lee and Broxton
any of my CI but Miggy for Lowell(or Loney) and Broxton

he just lost Grady and needs the power so If i ask for Lee I have to prob include another OF
He also has BJ upton

Please help...

Thanks!!!

I would not do that Fielder deal either, I might see if he wants Berkman and Valverde for Broxton and Loney.

Help with mine?
