Salvage my SS, Clint Barmes for Orlando Cabrera?

Postby leonsbrother » Wed Jun 03, 2009 10:20 am

I sent multiple trade offers to other owners for a quality SS, but apparently no one wants to trade anybody in this league. So I have to look at the FA market. Here are a few SS I am thinking of to pick up and dropping O Cabrera. Which one do you think is the better choice? I am thinking Barmes, just bumped into the 2nd hole, decent power hitter. Thanks in advance.

Clint Barmes
Emmanuel Burriss
Edgar Renteria

I'd have to say Barmes. Especially since he's in the 2 slot.

It's really a coin flip here, but Barnes has the most upside IMO
