Looking to bring in another Starting pitcher to help out and I've always been a Billingsley fan.
The owner just lost Quentin to the DL, and is potentially losing Longoria.
His Of left is: Hunter; Bruce; Bradley; N. Morgan in Utility
His SP are: Billingsley; J. Johnson; Lackey; Volstad; Price; Maine; Meche; Medlen
Obviously he can spare the loss of a SP to help fill his holes; my question: is this a good offer? Does it help me? Does this have a chance to be accepted?
I give: Rios; Peralta (3b, SS)
I get: Billingsley; Alexei Ramirez
I'm hoping to capitolize on Rios hitting well lately, and Peralta looking pretty decent as well over the last month. I hope he is still down on Alexei.....Thoughts? Leave a link

IMO, this is a very good trade you should consider. Peralta is really a non factor, Rios has some good numbers, but nowhere close to be great numbers. Chad Billingsley is a big upgrade for your lineup. On top of that, Alexi is turning around after a bad start. IMO, he is that type of player you want to trade for (bad overall stat, turning around, very good potential). I wish someone in my league would trade Alexi to me. You could shovel Juan Pierre out of the lineup for him
Please help me back?

I think it is a great deal for you; but I don't think it will be accepted. Billingsley is too valuable and he can trade for. He is currently the 7th most valuable fantasy starting pitcher (on ESPN, i think he is 11th on Yahoo) and Rios doesn't come close to this value. Try it and if it works it is a bonus for you; but I wouldn't expect it to be accepted. Thanks for helping on mine.

Trade was rejected; any ideas on how to tweak it?

Hey man this is a solid deal for you. It looks like you have hitting to spare and losing Rios won't kill your offense, however adding a guy like Billingsley would really strengthen your pitching staff. James Shields is not having a great year, however Gallardo and Carpenter are pitching really really well. Having Billingsley will give you an insane amount of depth and is a major upgrade for your squad, as a fellow Chad owner I say enjoy!
Help with mine?

I would do rios for chad..
I wouldnt expect him to trade alexie..he prob sat through his slump and he is just now hitting better.
Try the one for one trade. If not, you might want to include either
Rios and Carp or Young for Bills and alexie..
Caro is great but can he stay healthy?>
Help me out

I agree. I still like this trade as a 1-for-1 too. It will get you some sick SP & I think you have enough depth @ OF to make up for Rios
thanks for helping with mine
