Offered Johan... will this trade help me? WHIR!

I get: Johan/Milton Bradley
I give: Lester/Markakis/Quentin

I love the idea of getting a top pitcher, but I am concerned that I am giving up too much.. and I don't really like Milton
So the two parts of this trade that I want to change are Milton/Lester.
I'm 3rd in my league and I'm third to last in RBI/Average and fourth to last in ERA.

Should I even be going after a pitcher right now?
Can I try: Johan/Reimold for Markakis/Quentin/Duke???
What do you guys think would be a good trade for me???

im not sure i love this trade. the thing is, johan is on such an amazing run that he might technically be worth markakis+quentin. but you're definitely buying johan at an alltime high and selling quentin at an alltime low.

i'd rather see you package quentin/duke for a top 10 pitcher. markakis alone should get you jake peavy or roy halladay. no need to decimate your entire offense for one pitcher.

Dont give up both Quentin/Markakis. I'd try Markakis straight up (especially after tonights loss) and go from there. Quentin has been useless lately for sure, but if he turns it around after his DL stint, I think you might regret this trade.

Call me crazy, but I think I'm buying on Carpenter. See what his going rate is because he seems to be getting no respect due to injury concerns. His last DL stint had nothing to do with the prior one...so I'm thinking he's worth the risk for the results he gives. Plus he likely wont cost you Markakis+

You are giving up way too much. Johan is a stud but you are giving up too much. I hate to give up 2 solid bats for a pitcher (yes, quentin is hurt but when healthy he is a solid hitter). John pitches 1 or 2 times a week....while Markakis & Quentin can provide production all week for you!

I think Bradley is out with a hamstring problem of some sort. He has worked out great for the Cubs. Even if Bradley was healthy (and his average and hitting is going up), it is too expensive in my opinion.
