Evan Longoria will undergo an MRI Wednesday on his injured left hamstring.
Longoria doesn't believe the injury is serious, but the Rays are obviously going to take every precaution. "I didn't feel a pop, I didn't feel a pull, and I was able to walk," he said. "Hopefully it's just a day-to-day thing." The results should be available Wednesday night or Thursday morning.

MRI results are fine.

Also, Evan said he went into the dug out after pulling up and got on the stationary bike. He said he felt fine on the bike, but after he got off it tightened up and he just couldn't keep it lose. He said he didn't feel a pop, or tear, just that it felt like a twinge. The Rays are optimistic he will be back for the Yanks series this weekend.

He ran in staright lines forward and backward today prior to the game. They said he could have hit today, but would have had to waddle to first and been replaced by a pinch runner. They are still saying Saturday is the return
