Miguel Cabrera for Ryan Howard?

I currently have Ryan Howard on the squad but I have a week spot at 3B (platooning Hank Blalock and Scott Rolen). Miguel Cabrera qualifies at 3B. Would you make this trade (Howard for Cabrera)? I was thinking I could move Prince Fielder to 1B and then put Cabrera at 3B and then figure something out at UTL. What do you think? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Any other thoughts on this now that Cabrera has a possibly hammy pull? This same thing just came up for me for my Miggy and his Howard.

the hammy pull makes it a little more difficult but I still think Mcab trumps Howard. Then you can slip Prince into 1B and free up a util spot for morgan or another WW pickup.

I have Howard in a 5 keeper 14 team league and I'd trade Howard to get Miggy...the extra BA is just huge. And it makes even more sense in your situation since you can put Miggy at 3B and Fielder at 1B...book it.

I agree with the rest, you have to take that trade even with the hammy concern.
