TRADE HELP>? to do it or not to do it

Hey guys,

Im new around here i just had a question on if i should do this trade.

im in a money league.its a 16 team mixed league. right now sitting in 8th place just made a buncha trades to shake up my team a bit this past week.
just so you guys can get an idea of my team----

right now my pitching is a little shakey with :

SP: Ted Lilly, Randy Wells, Rick Porcello, Randy Wolf, Jason Marquis, Nick Blackburn, Edison Volquez and Ricky Nolasco

my offense looks like: C Wieters, 1B Teixeira, 2B Utley, 3B Chris Davis, SS Elvis Andrus, OF Nelson Cruz, OF Markakis, OF Soriano Util Hairston Jr and Util Garret Atkins, with Coco Crisp on my bench.


my question is do i do this trade with a guy thats in 2nd place--- the teams he has played over the past few weeks have just played awful so he thinks he doesnt need Cole Hamels.

Should I trade him Soriano and Edison Volquez for Jermaine Dye or Alex Rios and Hamels?

if i should do the trade which outfielder do I choose (he told me either or) Dye or Rios?

Soriano and Dye are close, so I would def go with Dye there. Not a Rios fan at all.

This is a great trade for you, as Hamels is a huge upgrade over volquez, who is already hurt again. You're SPs are very very weak, but you have a great offense. You are adding a stud SP without really losing anything offensively with Dye, so this is a no brainer. Make this deal NOW! ha

Had Hamels been all that good? I haven't followed his stats super closely since the spate of injuries, but it's not last year's Hamels you are trading for.

BJ Upton and Josh Johnson for Soriano??????
