Currently I have the following trade offered to me by a manager; It seems many here at the cafe believe I could get more for Greinke but admittedly I am still leaning towards taking it
I give: Greinke
I get: Beltran
With a different manager would something like this have any chance, and would it be in my interest?
I give: Greinke; Jeter; and maybe Hart/Rios
I get: Hanley; Sizemore
I give: Greinke; Jeter
I get: Hanley
Should I even spend time trying to work up such a deal? does it help my team enough to lose Grienke Jeter, etc.

I'd do this deal in a heartbeat.
I give: Greinke; Jeter
I get: Hanley
Grienke's a funny guy to trade, it's like the fact that he's a Royal automatically lowers his value. People seem reluctant to believe the fact that he is the best starting pitcher for fantasy purposes this season. With Hanley's struggles this season, this should be a very easy trade to accept. However, most people will be too reluctant to deal their first over all pick for a Royals starter.

I think you should look into that Hanley trade. Beltran for Greinke is a good deal but no reason to believe that you can't do better than that. Beltran will cool off some, the Jeter/Greinke for Hanley deal is a really solid deal for both parties as long as he needs some pitching. Take that route.

Hanley
Lee
Rios

OR
Jeter

I agree. If you can get Hanley for Greinke and Jeter you've done well. Jeter is playing better than he should and I wouldn't consider him a big loss. No matter how good Greinke plays for the rest of the year getting Hanley is never a bad idea. The question is whether he'd pull the trigger. For Hanley I would be willing to give up even more if I had to. It's an options I've been consider as I also have Greinke and could really use a SS but his owner is not willing to budge.
Good luck to you.

Thanks for the help in mine.
You hit it on the head when you said you take Hanley when you can get him. For all the guys available in the draft, many are replaceable to a certain extent, but guys like him make a team. Greinke will come down to earth.
Ask yourself, before the season could you do this? No way. This is a perfect buy low sell high.
