1 year, 14 team H2H 6x6 (with holds and OPS as 6th cats)

My team:

2B - D. Uggla
3B - Andy Laroche
SS - J. Hardy
OF - J. Upton, C. Hart, J. Cust
Util - J. Baker, M. Jacobs
BN - C. Jones, S. Hairston, G. Sizemore, M. Ramirez
DL - R. Doumit, J. Votto, J. Flores

SP - M. Garza, U. Jimenez, J. Danks, C. Pavano, Z. Greinke, J. Zimmerman, J. Outman
RP - H. Bell, K. Gregg
DL - K. Escobar

Free agents (Also, who to drop for them?)

S. Drew

Adam LaRoche
Y. Escobar
B. Francisco
C. Ross
M. Byrd
R. Spilborghs
J. Varitek
B. Gardner
C. Rasmus
J. Willingham

F. Liriano
P. Maholm
M. Pelfrey
R. Nolasco
J. Sanchez

***Also, I could drop Flores since I have a lot of catching and move Sizemore to the DL and get one free pickup that way. Is that a good move?

you have a hole in average department Kelly Johnson and Spilly would be great additions. Flores is a good drop and play Hairston or Spilly in the OF while Sizemore is on the DL, and Doutmit for Johnson and play him in UTIL, that way you wont look tottaly embarassed in the BA department. Piching looks good maybe drop Outman for Liriano and see if he can figure it out and be dominate.

Again this is horrible advice. A streaky 2nd baseman who bats .250 isn't going to help you with BA. He's hot now but he'll cool off again and be as streaky as he's always been. Josh Outman has been phenomenal. He doesn't win much because he pitches for Oakland, but there are very few pitchers that can match his K/9 and low ERA and WHIP. Liriano has been horrible with an ERA of almost 7.00. He hasn't been getting better or shown any indication that he will improve this season. He's actually getting worse.

Nick Blackburn has been solid for a backend starter (he won't K much though). Try adding Clete Thomas for some OF help. He's been a huge boost for me in some of my deeper leagues. He only sits against lefties which really doesn't hinder his playing time much at all.
