Pujols & Jose Reyes for A Rod & Justin Upton?

Postby ceLpH » Tue Jun 02, 2009 12:33 pm

Points league, not weekly its accumulative

Runs - 1
Singles - 1
Doubles - 2
Triples - 4
Home Runs - 5
RBI - 2
IBB - 1
Stolen Bases - 2

Its a league with a lot of UTILs so position doesnt matter at all

Im getting A Rod & J-Upton in the deal & Im thinking pull the trigger as Reyes hasnt done much, is hurt & isnt a huge asset in a league like this

Im not familiar with that scoring but in a normal league i wouldnt do that, upton should tale off this 2nd half. However if reyes really isn't valuable like you say it might be worth it as Arod should RAKE in that new Yankees Stadium

It is close but I would pass. Reyes will get better and Upton will cool off some.

Pujols will put up similar hrs than Arod but hits way better for average and Reyes when he is healthy will put up awesome runs and stolen base totals, Upton is hot right now but with have cold streaks plus is on a bad team, and Arod is only a homer threat, I would pass on this deal, you will regret it in the second half.

help with mine?

Yeah, I don't do this either - Pujols is my no. 1 guy for fantasy baseball, so he trumps ARod. And I don't think anyone believes Upton will keep up this pace, or that Reyes will continue to struggle like this. And the fact that Reyes plays such a premium position means you need to wait till he picks it up so you can sell higher. Both Pujols and Reyes are first rounders, man - this is no time to cut bait! You gotta wait your studs out - except maybe David Oriz. ;-)
