Looks like Peavy's night is done as the team is going to be careful with his ankle. Josh Geer was warming and ready in case Peavy couldn't finish the inning and looks to take over in the 2nd as Peavy headed to the clubhouse between innings.

Bastardo is falling behind everyone and working predominantly with his fastball that's hitting 94-95 consistently.

Scratch the ankle...the word is Peavy left with flu-like symptoms.

Now the word has been updated to "respiratory viral infection" which basically means Peavy has the swine fluz. Drop him for Bastardo?? WHIR!!
