Deep dynasty league trade

The offer is Skip Schumaker and a 4th round (I can get higher from him) Minor league draft pick for Shin-Soo Choo OR I can have Anderson Hernández (WAS) and a 2nd round minor league pick for Choo.

I do need a 2nd baseman since Mike Aviles was a flop (I was so sure he was the real deal... ), and my only other 2nd baseman is Luis Castillo of the Mets who is getting the job done but is hardly dynasty material. I have a surplus of outfielders and have been floating them around for a second baseman for about 6 weeks now. This is my first offer. I don't like it personally and I don't think Schumaker is the answer to my 2nd base problem.

i don't like the deal for you. you can get more for shoo. is jerry hairston jr. available? he might be worth using at 2B. see how he does; if not happy with him, then try to trade shoo plus someone for brian roberts or aaron hill.

JH jr is owned. Unfortunatly with the league being so deep, most teams do not own more than one quality 2nd baseman. Therefore they are not willing to deal them. This team happens too own 3 2nd base eligable players (the other being Fontenot who I have no interest in)

yeah, i wouldn't want fontenot either. so there's no one available at all? i would keep shoo here. i think he'll be more valuable to you in the OF than schumaker at 2B. maybe aviles bounces back... i know it's hard to wait. (i have alexei, and he finally has started to hit!) it's too bad you didn't trade for him when is value was low. is aviles plus shoo for alexei an option?
