The Brewers didn't immediately announce whether Braun's departure was injury-related or a simple double-switch, but television cameras caught Braun showing signs of left leg or foot pain earlier in the inning after fouling a pitch off his lower leg.

Gulp!!

Anyone watching the game have any other info on this? When I saw he left the game, I thought it was a mere double switch. But after reading this, I think I may have messed my pants!!

Foul ball off of his foot. He stayed in the game and tried to play through it. I'm hoping that it was just precautionary considering the wet field.

No word yet on the severity.

I traded for him 2 days ago - if this is bad, I guess he can join Reyes and A-Ram on my all star DL...
