Im in a 5x5 h2h lge and want to know which pitcher you like better for the end of my rotation this yr. Blanton or Happ. I've never been a Blanton fan and like the upside of Happ. Whats your guys take? Whir....

I am not a fan of Blanton at all. I think Happ has a lot more upside at this point. Neither is that desireable. What are some other options out there??

Happ is worht a risk by default but I would not be real interested in either one unless I was desperate for pitching in a deep league

other guys out there i'd consider are:

Cahill, rich hill, parra, k uehara, washburn, zito, de la rosa, a miller, bush, medlen, kawakami.

i don't like happ's home park, but i do like his upside and run support. out of these other guys, i'm a pretty big Cahill fan but just about as much as Happ. any more thoughts after these other options? thanks fellas i'll start responding the the posts now, thanks.

Cahill, rich hill, parra, k uehara, washburn, zito, de la rosa, a miller, bush, medlen, kawakami.

alot of thse guys you listed are better than Blanton or Happ - Parra, Bush, even Zito, Cahill, Kawakami, uehara might be better options than Blanton or Happ

yea i can agree with ya. i just am kinda Happ happy right now for some reason. I kinda just want to take a shot on a guy and see what happens. that being said I guess I like Happ, Cahill and the two Japanese guys the best. dunno. def like Happ and Cahill but they are so young, but they are just shots in the dark. huh.....??

pretty much tired of Parra I've owned him numerous times over last two yrs and he is just a time bomb. too many walks. it is his third yr so he could possibly figure it out but i just don't have the faith.

Happ if I had to choose, but I would definitely check other options. I might be tempted to pick him up short term and wait for Uehara when he's back from injury. Maybe stash him on the DL if you have room. If not, I'm sure he'll be there when activated.
