Agreed with above. Burnett is always a risky target, as you never know which AJ will show up in a start. He is one of those who's name value and hype exceeds what you actually get IMO, especially pitching in new Yankee Stadium. If you can trade a similar offensive player (ie. Reynolds) do that instead of messing with your picks. However, I would target an undervalued solid SP like Cain (as previously mentioned) instead of Burnett. Give up less and get more consistency.

Tried for Gallardo shopping Reynolds and my pick. No bite. Also Sloweys owner won't move him, not interested.

Would the pick be enough for cain or would i need to offer more? any other pitchers to target?

If Burnettes 2nd half is anything like last year he would be a solid additon.

Hey man, thanks for the help with mine! As a rule I never trade a big time hitter for a pitcher. I think that there are SP's available on the waiver wire who usually are serviceable. However you really do need to bolster your staff but like some of the other posters said, I would not target Burnett. I like the idea of dealing Mark Reynolds, he is the only one of the your starters who I would feel comfortable losing for a SP. Here are some pitchers I would target: Matt Cain, Adam Wainwright, Bedard,Cueto, and Wandy Rodriguez. Also there are some other SP's that you might be able to snag for a bit less: Ted Lilly, Buehrle, Edwin Jackson, or Matt Garza.

Yeah I would stay away from Burnett as well, he is injury prone and he may have offense behind him but he can give up 10+ runs in that homer happy Yankee stadium. Cain for Reynolds may pull off especially if the Cain owner has offensive holes.
