Just completed a huge 10 player trade and am curious what people think?
I traded my: Ian Kinsler, Derek Jeter, Nelson Cruz, Dan Haren, and David Price for his: Jimmy Rollins, Carl Crawford, Alexei Ramirez, Josh Johnson, and Justin Verlander
My team now: C: Soto 1B: Votto 2B: Alexei Ram. 3B: Longoria SS: Rollins OF: Matt Kemp, Adam Jones, Carl Crawford Utl: Justin Upton Bench: Ryan Ludwick, Russell Branyan
SP: Verlander, Josh Johnson, Erik Bedard, Felix Hernandez, Chris Carpenter, Mike Pelfrey, Scott Kazmir, Brandon Webb, Smoltz, Nolasco, Tommy Hanson
wow you got murdered on this trade Ramirez is garbage, and Rollins is underperforming, Kinsler is the best 2b in baseball and Haren and Price have better potential season wide than Johnson and Verlander, and Crawford is okay until he gets injured the killers here were Kinsler and Cruz.
Yeah horrible trade for you. Rollins and alexei have been horrible this year. Crawford has been great but so has Cruz. Cruz has more power and still gets some steals so definitely a downgrade. Verlander has been great, but Haren is a top 10 pitcher. Price's last start was very encouraging and I think he's going to have a great year.
Thanks for the input. It's actually not one of my main leagues and if it were, I probably wouldn't have made the deal. Just trying to mix things up. If Alexei (who's been playing better) and Rollins turns things around I think it will be a good deal. This is probably a trade that will take some time to figure if it's a good one or not.
ya i dont think its that bad of a trade. i prefer the 2 pithchers youre getting. Haren usually tanks in the 2nd half. I guess a lot depends on Rollins and if he finally bounces back. Big IF lol
