Nady (elbow) is still scheduled to start a throwing program on Monday, the Yankees' official site reports.

Recommendation: That will be the biggest hurdle in getting Nady healthy enough to return. It doesn't sound like Hideki Matsui is going to be able to vacate the DH spot and start playing defense again anytime soon, so Nady will have to rehab his way back into right field.

Damon is going to start every day at left field. Center field they're going to go with either Melky or Brett Gardner. So I think best case scenario he splits time with Nick Swisher or gets some at bats at DH. I don't think he'll be an every day player.

With the way Swisher has been playing there's no way they'll just bench him.

Swisher has been HORRIBLE. The fact you think someone who went 12-80(.150) in May in un-benchable is comical. And for the season he is hitting .123 with 1HR at home. If Nady can come back and show and any life I think he will spilt RF 60-40 with Swisher.

Do you really want to play a guy that only plays 40 or 60% of the time?

Over the course of the season Swisher has 31 runs, 10 homers, 31 rbi, .373 on base percentage. He hasn't been horrible and Xavier Nady will at best platoon with Swisher when he comes back, just like you said. Which was my point to begin with.
